Great place to visit if in the area, the railway on site is brillant for kids if it's running(check days before coming) nice places to eat, the mill is fun of character and history and the other exhibits around the site are good.
Good working example of an old windmill it does still sometimes make flour but not often but you can buy bread that has flour milled directly from the mill from the little shop at the bottom. When it is open you can go to the top and enjoy the views from there well worth a visit if your in the area
Absoloutely brilliant. Both my disabled children were able to ride the mini railway and they loved it. My dad really enjoyed the museum and i loved the coffee shop!
Waltham Windmill is great place to visit, with attractions such as the mill and model railway. Ice cream at the carriage is delicious you can even get ice cream for your four legged friends there too. There are few other businesses in site including a coffee shop, hairdresser s and sweet emporium. It is great for all the family. We love it!
Beautiful part of local history. Enjoyed a tour round the Rural Museum with all its War Memorabilia. Enjoyed a spot of tea and cake in the coffee shop and the kids explored the working windmill. Lovely day out.
