After 50 years as a customer of The Chateau ,I am saying good-by. (The very negative experience we had the day before the superbowl changed our feelings.) First. the appetizer we ordered (calamari) was overcooked and difficult to eat. Second: I order steak tips (medium rare). The tips were so tough I could not even chew them. When I complained to the server, she said she would sent out the manager (never came). I substituted Fried Haddock for the tips. The haddock was undercooked.GOODBYE CHATEAU, 50 YEARS WAS A LONG RUN. ( I see the slide to failure on the way. I previously stopped going to the Burlington restaurant for the same reason.
I was very busy for lunchtime which made it a bit loud and noisy for me. However, the food and service were very good! I had the eggplant and chicken parmigiana with penne and sauce combo, very yummy! Also, my friend and I split the ice cream hot fudge covered cake roll, it was delicious!
One of the greatest establishments in the state.. love them all.. why?? always a good neighborly feel when meeting friends or family...nostalgia at its best
Good spot for Italian food. Two thumbs up for this place. There was quick and friendly service. Prices are decent.
Any time i have been to the Chateau, the service has been great, and i have never had a bad meal. We have been going there for the last 15 years. Angel was our server today, service was great as always. Two other people i have had contact with are Guiles and a young man named Josh. Both very attentive and observant. Always a pleasure to dine there.
